🌿✨ Bringing an AI-generated image to life on location was a 10-hour creative journey—from applying moss to the dress, transporting it carefully, setting the scene, capturing the shots, and finally editing. I discovered the original image on Pinterest, and later learned that a designer from Orlando may have showcased this dress in a museum. Every night, I find myself scrolling through Pinte

Every night, I find myself scrolling through Pinterest for inspiration—and one evening, an AI-generated image of moss dress completely captured my attention. I knew instantly that I wanted to recreate it and bring it to life.

🌿 What fascinated me was the idea of turning a digital concept into something tangible. The night before the shoot, the amazing girl who creates decor for me spent three hours meticulously attaching real moss to the dress. Transporting it from the studio to the location was a challenge in itself—moss kept falling off, everything was dry, and by the time we arrived, my car was completely covered in it. (Let’s just say… my husband doesn’t need to know 😂).

🐠 Later, during editing, an idea came to me: I imagined placing still water around her, making her appear calm, untouched, almost like a reflection of the nature she was wearing—graceful and grounded.

For this project, I envisioned a ballerina dancing

For this project, I envisioned a ballerina dancing and sailing through a sea of flowers, as if floating on water. Finding the right location was a challenge—by the time we started shooting, the vibrant yellow fields had already disappeared. We managed to find just one spot, though it had a narrow path in front. During editing, the idea came to me to add a reflective water puddle, symbolizing that water is still present—fluid, calm, and powerful. Be like water. 💧

In my editing workflow, I always begin by cropping into a square format. This gives me room to expand the image and allows the subject to remain centered as the focal point. I love extending the sides to create more visual space—something that used to be time-consuming, but is now incredibly fast thanks to generative fill tools.

🖊️ I’m editing on my BenQ SW272U @aqcolor_by_benq photography monitor, which helps me see every detail with true-to-life colors. It’s essential for achieving the precise tones and atmosphere I aim for in my work.

Location can be a challenge for many photographers—but the truth is, you don’t need an entire spot.
🌸 Just one corner that speaks to you is enough: a flower bush, a vibrant wall, or a tree with a bit of magic.
Later, during editing, you can expand the scene using tools like generative fill or other creative techniques. That is why I love using @photoshop the most!
